Deep In The WoodsDeep In The Woods

Tonight the wind blows
It swept across the skin of my bare toes
The curious feet asked: where do you come from?
The wind answered: follow me, I'll tell you
The feet as if spellbound lifted itself from the ground
I obediently followed
It started with gentle steps
Then faster and faster
I know it's trying to catch up
With the speed of the wind
The feet and I
Soared high across buildings over buildings
Landscapes over landscapes
Through the darkness, amidst the cold
We passed everything yet see nothing
Too fast we have moved
It's so cold, my body can't take the tow
Where are we now?
I only see some dark greens rustling in the dark mid air
Swish swish swish!
Hey, greenies, are you talking with the wind?
And wind, you have not told me where are you from?
We are already here, the wind said
…deep in the woods, that's where I stay
You love me, don't you?
You dream about me day and night
You sing songs about me
You write about me
How do you feel being here?
I said… it's cold, dark and helple
